Award winning chef to headline Mayor's Reception at Great Exhibition
Restaurant DOM has been confirmed as an official partner at the Great Exhibition of Lincolnshire, proudly sponsoring the prestigious Mayor’s Reception.
The much anticipated event has been inspired by the legacy of the Great Exhibition of 1851. This modern-day showcase will bring together businesses, investors, and dignitaries to celebrate innovation, technology, and regional trade. As it's Lincolnshire, the event will feature a vibrant food, drink, and hospitality zone, designed to spotlight Lincolnshire’s culinary talent and attract new investment into the region.
Culinary excellence
At the heart the Mayor’s Reception is acclaimed business 'Restaurant DOM' and Slawomir Mikolajczyk, the restaurant’s visionary chef. With a background in Michelin-level kitchens and a passion for zero-waste cooking, Mikolajczyk will present a Lincolnshire-inspired menu to distinguished guests.
“The opportunity to present my cuisine to a group of influential Lincolnshire leaders, dignitaries, and overseas embassies at the Great Exhibition was one I couldn’t overlook,” said Mikolajczyk.
“Cooking for me is deeply personal. Growing up in Poland, food was never wasted. It’s about connecting with the land, the animals, and the people who grow our food. Every meal is a celebration of life, sustainability, and the journey from farm to plate. I’m excited to share a locally inspired menu developed especially for this event to bring the true flavour of Lincolnshire to a global audience.”
