Mayor strengthens international links with Taiwan
The Mayor met President Han Kuo-yu in Westminster to strengthen international partnerships and promote Greater Lincolnshire as an open, globally ambitious area
The Mayor of Greater Lincolnshire, Dame Andrea Jenkyns, met President Han Kuo-yu in Westminster today as part of ongoing efforts to build international partnerships that support economic growth and innovation across Lincolnshire.
The meeting highlighted the strong alignment between Greater Lincolnshire and Taiwan’s industrial strengths, creating new opportunities for collaboration, trade, and investment to benefit local businesses and communities.
Speaking after the meeting, the Mayor Dame Andrea said:
“It was great to meet President Han Kuo-yu in Westminster today. The industrial strengths between Taiwan and ourselves complement each other, making Taiwan a critical partner for innovation. We must also stand firm in supporting international cooperation and shared global principles.”
“I made it crystal clear to the President and the European Chamber of Commerce that Greater Lincolnshire is an international powerhouse, open for business and ready to lead. We are charging full steam ahead toward vital agreements to back our local industries and put our brilliant region on the world stage.”
