Mayor of Greater Lincolnshire, Dame Andrea Jenkyns, officially opened Bomber County Flying School at Wickenby Aerodrome, celebrating its world-class pilot training, commitment to widening access to aviation and support for charitable causes including the Mark Long Trust and Aerobility.

Following the opening, Mayor Jenkyns said:

"It was a great pleasure to open the Bomber County Flying School at Wickenby Aerodrome yesterday. It is a flying school that supports world-class training and experiences, delivered by highest quality pilots with pedigrees that stand out as giants in aviation. They are non-profit and supports the Mark Long Trust and Aerobility.

"It was truly moving to meet Mark Long's wonderful wife Beth and his Mother, who are channelling their grief of his loss into helping so many people.

"Good luck to Phil on this worthy endeavor."
